Bob Boiko

Bob
Boiko is founder and president of Metatorial Services Inc. He
has over 15 years of experience creating Web, hypertext, and multimedia
systems and tools for some of the world's top technology corporations
(including Microsoft, Motorola, and Boeing). He was responsible
for the technical vision supporting Chase Bobko's leading position
in content management. He is author of numerous software guides,
technical papers, columns, magazine articles, and the book "Content
Management Bible" (Hungry Minds, 2001).
Bob is internationally known for his lectures
and workshops. His academic interests include metadata, information
architecture, and information system design.
After spending 5 years as a writer, consultant
and software developer, Bob formed his own corporation to provide
advanced information collection and delivery systems. In 1995,
he merged his company with Chase and Associates Inc. to form Chase
Bobko Inc. As the company grew, Bob served as President, Head
of Sales and Marketing, and Head of Operations. Bob and his two
partners grew Chase Bobko from a staff of 6 to a staff of 70.
Today, he owns Metatorial Services Inc., a small consultancy,
which provides education and services for organizations embarking
on content management projects.
Bob has extensive expertise in content and knowledge
management, authoring, multimedia design, Web publishing, and tool
construction. He has undergraduate degrees in physics and oceanography
and a graduate degree in human communication.
