Rahul
Joshi has a formal education in cell biology and molecular
biochemistry, but has been working in the information technology
industry for the past 17 years. He has written columns for
computer papers on the emergence of modern technology and co-authored
18 software training guidebooks for Microsoft applications.
Rahul has managed and directed a multimedia training
program for Microsoft Press (Microsoft Access 2000 Step by Step),
designed and specified Extranet systems for Herman Miller Incorporated,
Image X and OSH (Sears Hardware), and defined needs for Motorolas
content management requirements. He has helped to specify content
management systems for Boeings in-flight broad-band Internet
access system and developed technical specifications for object
models, documented business logic and flow, and developed testing
regimens for server based applications for AT&T Wireless e-Business
sites.
In 1996, his company, Aware Learning Technologies,
produced award-winning computer based training applications (14
titles with Admin module) for CD-ROM and the Internet. During
his tenure as President of Aware, Rahul designed and specified
applications with the IAPA (Industrial Accident Prevention Association
of Canada), and senior scientists with NIOSH (National Institute
of Safety and Health in Washington DC).
Rahul has served as the Director of Strategy with
Saltmine, of Seattle WA, an e-Business development organization.
He has also served as a Director of Information Architecture with
Chase Bobko Incorporated.
